Bubble plot showing changes in the density of Mastigias across the lake as each day progresses. Early in the morning (0700 hrs) Mastigias are found mostly in the western half of the lake, but they rapidly move to the east. During the afternoon, they return to the west, where they remain overnight. The rose diagrams down the side show the directions in which the jellyfish are swimming at those times.
